Wizzard - Rock 'n' Roll Winter (Loony's Tune).
Wizzard were an English glam rock band formed by Roy Wood, former member of the Move and co-founder of the Electric Light Orchestra. The Guinness Book of 500 Number One Hits states, "Wizzard was Roy Wood just as much as Wings was Paul McCartney. They are most famous for their 1973 Christmas song "I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday"
I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday" is a Christmas song recorded by British glam rock band Wizzard. It was first released in December 1973 and, as with most Wizzard songs, was written and produced by the band's frontman Roy Wood - formerly of the Move and a founding member of ELO. Despite the song's strong, long-lasting popularity, it has reached no higher than number four on the UK Singles Chart, a position it occupied for four consecutive weeks from December 1973 to January 1974

Wizzard - Rock 'n' roll winter Songtext. It's a wonderful rock n' roll winter, baby. It's so sad to leave you cryin' in the rain Silly girl those drops won't mend your heart again If your most important things don't go your way Come on, come on, come on Let's save the day. Oh we're gonna make some rock n' roll this winter Now my teenage heart has said hello to you Oh there's gonna be some rock n' roll this winter It's a wonderful rock n' roll winter, baby

Wizzard landed two chart-toppers overseas, See My Baby Jive and Angel Fingers. Chaotic but always melodic, Wood built a unique wall of sound around these and other dandies like Rock and Roll Winter and perennial winner I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day. Wizzard even jabbed the ascending ELO with Bend Over Beethoven. In the center of this insanity, Wood sported multi-colored beard and mane, added a star to his forehead, and covered his face (perhaps inspiring fan Paul Stanley) with warpaint, sprinkles, or innumerable other oddities.
