This is Dinosaur Jr's 2 full-length album; Recorded and released in 1987. It is for sure one of the best alternative/indie albums of the '80s. J Mascis is a brilliant orchestrator of amazing alternative rock and outstanding guitar solos. The sound of You're Living All Over me is a complete improvement on their self-titled debut Dinosaur, which seemed ruff and rushed. Music lovers of bands like Sonic Youth, Love Battery, and Neil Young will love this album. Lyrics - 10 J Mascis is a romantic. is widely hailed as one of the greatest alternative rock bands of all time, though this seems to be a case more of myopic cronyism among the musical elite than for any appreciation of the music. The lead singer sounds like a whinier version of Adam Duritz of Counting Crows, the guitars range from ear pleasing to noisy and weird and the lyrics are simply drivel without any regard to greater depth. It really cannot be stressed how much the singer of this band sounds like Adam Duritz. This is almost a hallmark of the album, as an ear pleasing guitar riff, sometimes teasing you with the hope that it will break into full on Hard Rock is almost instantly drowned by the whining of the Adam Duritz doppelganger(imitator) that goes into a lame attempt at a guitar solo, with pathetic attempts at shredding that quickly collapses in on itself. with missed notes and ugly feedback.
Album You’re Living All Over Me. Little Fury Things Lyrics. What is it Who is it Where is it. A rabbit falls away from me, I guess I'll crawl A rabbit always smashes me, again I'll crawl Tried to think what's over me, it makes me crawl Then she runs away from me, faster than I crawl. I stopped to call, tried to feel it all Stuck my hand and pulled real hard Got stretch in miles, not in yards Then I read, about all those who believe all of your lies Sunlight brings the red, drowning your eyes.
Nothing about Dinosaur J. s chaotic music should have worked, but on their sophomore LP, the Western Massachusetts trio made it mesh, and in the process, altered the fabric of independent rock music forever. tv: bi. y/yK2Fbp - FOLLOW Pitchfork. tv on Twitter: bi. y/KJ2PhP.
