Cause for Alarm is the second full-length studio album by New York hardcore band Agnostic Front. It was released in 1986 on Relativity/Combat Records and follows 1984's Victim in Pain. The addition of a second guitarist – Alex Kinon – led to a more metallic approach, although the songs still had mostly a hardcore sound. One other line-up change was the replacement of Dave Jones by Louie Beatto on drums.

Agnostic Front is an American hardcore punk band from New York City. Founded in 1980, the band helped start the New York hardcore scene. Despite being an important band in the hardcore punk genre, the band later started playing crossover thrash. Their debut EP, United Blood, released in 1983 on an indie label, has since become a collector's item. During its initial phase, the band consisted entirely of skinheads. Although this would change over time, Agnostic Front would continue to feature skinheads as part of their line-up. Musically, the album bears resemblance to bands that were heavily influenced by Agnostic Front, such as Hatebreed. Miret's vocals on the album particularly seemed to turn off many less hardcore punk-oriented fans.

Agnostic Front, inicialmente conocida como Zoo Crew, es una banda estadounidense de hardcore punk, perteneciente al denominado New York hardcore o NYHC junto a bandas como Sick of It All y Murphy's Law entre otras. It was released in 1993 on Relativity Records, marketed by Roadrunner Records, and follows 1992's studio album, One Voice. How hardcore conquered New York. In 1983, a seven-inch vinyl record appeared called United Blood . by Agnostic Front, which was gaining a reputation as the fiercest band in the city. On the cover, four skinheads played to about twice as many people; on the back, there was a drawing of a skinhead carrying a New York Hardcore flag, alongside a list of ten songs, which were over in about six minutes. The first Agnostic Front album featured on its cover a 1941 photograph known as The Last Jew of Vinnitsa, which shows a German officer putting a gun to the head of a man kneeling over an open grave. The album included an unambiguous anti-Fascist statement ( It’s time to grow out of your Nazi hypocrism! ), but most of the lyrics were politically indeterminate, and some fans chose to focus, instead, on lines like They hate us, We’ll hate them.
