Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath (1970).

Paranoid' is the second studio album from Black Sabbath.

Ozzy Osbourne may have just postponed his tour due to ill health, but to make up for that, take a look back at the satanic highs and tepid lows of his one-time band.

Black Sabbath is the debut studio album by the English rock band Black Sabbath. Released on 13 February 1970 in the United Kingdom and on 1 June 1970 in the United States, the album reached number eight on the UK Albums Charts and number 23 on the Billboard charts. Black Sabbath is widely considered the first heavy metal album. Additionally, the opening track of the album-Black Sabbath-is widely considered to be the first doom metal song.

Black Sabbath: Were an English rock band, formed in Birmingham in 1968, by guitarist and main songwriter Tony Iommi, drummer Bill Ward, bassist and main lyricist Geezer Butler and singer Ozzy Osbourne. Black Sabbath are often cited as pioneers of heavy metal music. The band helped define the genre with releases such as Black Sabbath, Paranoid, and Master of Reality. The band had multiple line-up changes, with Iommi being the only constant member throughout its history. Paranoid, Iron Man, . Вся дискография, Радио, Концерты, рекомендации и похожие исполнители.

You forgot something – what is this album I have here?!? The albums in the section above are the Official Black Sabbath albums. If it’s not listed here, then it’s not an Official, band sponsored album. That doesn’t mean it’s illegal, but lots of things like record label greatest Hits albums (the NEMS one springs to mind) fall in this category.

Considered by many to be the first heavy metal band, Black Sabbath was formed in 1968 by Tony Iommi, Ozzy Osbourne, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward. The band's original name was the Polka Tulk Blues Band (later shortened to Polka Tulk) and later on changed to Earth (12) before becoming Black Sabbath inspired by an Italian horror movie of the same name. The original line-up lasted until 1979, after which Osbourne was fired and replaced by Ronnie James Dio. The line-up changes would continue, with no line-up remaining intact for consecutive studio releases.
