Adiós muchachos is a 1927 tango composed by Argentinian pianist Julio César Sanders and Argentinian poet César Vedani. According to Francisco Garcia Jimenez, Sanders was inspired when after a night out with a group of friends in 1927 in the Buenos Aires district of Flores, one of them said goodbye with the words "Adiós, muchachos". Hugo del Carril recorded it in 1946 accompanied by guitars. Francisco Lomuto recorded it for Victor in 1942 with singer Jorge Omar. Odeón recorded the tango with the voice of Armando Moreno and music by Enrique Rodríguez. Australian Violinist Vov Dylan with Accordionist Enzo Toppano recorded this album for their 2016 release "Cafe Classics".

The instrument is very lightly built, reminiscent of the legendary guitars that were built in the Miguel Rodriguez workshop in Cordoba, Spain. Playability is very easy with a smooth neck and large, rounded frets. This model features a very interesting combination of materials - cedar for the top, giving it a warm, big-bodied and powerful Spanish glow, and maple for the back and sides which give it a sweeter, mellower quality, reducing some of the edginess of rosewood; Pepe Sr. refers to this model as the "gentle giant".
