THis is the version I know from Ossian’s Seal Song album, which is on this site - ww. hesession. I have submitted it in its "correct" piper’s key of B minor, but Ossian play it initially in A minor before doing the key change up. Posted by Fliúiteadóir 10 years ago. Ji. o, as far as I know, it is a jig, not a march. The 3rd part’s missing from your transcription. Obvious similarities to "Lannigan’s Ball". I think this might be an example of Scottish pipers taking an Irish jig, putting it into a key suitable for the pipes, and making a 4-part.
