The software is included as a bonus download with the album to encourage you to make your own 'Processed' music.
Processed is designed for real-time use, to transform and beautify a live audio input (or pre-recorded samples) via processing, looping, pitch shifting and layering. I created this ensemble to process my harp playing; to build thick, fluid, glitched and evolving walls of sound from a single, pure sound source. It sounds glitchy, due to the granular pitch shifting You just play a dry signal into it and out comes (hopefully) thick, lush sound. 10 years of on/off Reaktor tinkering has gone into this ensemble, plus my new album was created entirely with this ensemble. I'd love to hear things you make with it, enjoy! Thanks.
Kris Keogh is an Australian musician and producer from Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory. He is intent making the most beautiful noise possible, any way he can. That could mean writing crushing bass and beats for his Laptop Destroyer project, making hyper-glitched processed harp works under his own name, or by designing his own custom audio software using Reaktor. Influenced as much by Ravel and Debussy as Atari Teenage Riot and Autechre, his classical training sits happily at odds with his 20 years in the electronic underground. HOW THE BODY WORKS: 'Kris Keogh’s latest album is amazing and you should get it. My favourite desert noisecore harp player FINALLY does hip hop like you’re supposed to. Give him money.
